Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 June 2026

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions to the Riya platform (“Service”), operated by Synvolve Intellis Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”), may be cancelled and the circumstances under which refunds are issued. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Free Trial

New workspaces may start on a 14-day free trial with no payment method required. No charge is made during the trial, and you can let it lapse at any time without obligation. A paid subscription begins only when you explicitly choose a plan and complete payment.

2. Subscription Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as selected) in Indian Rupees (INR), exclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). Recurring payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay, under a payment mandate you authorise at checkout. Each billing cycle is charged automatically until the subscription is cancelled.

3. How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing in your workspace, or by emailing us at billing@synvolveintellis.com.

On cancellation, recurring billing stops and your subscription is set to not renew. Your workspace retains paid access until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, after which it reverts to a limited/free state. Cancellation does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current cycle (see below).

4. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, because access to the Service is provided for the full billing cycle upon payment. However, we will issue a refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charge: if you were charged more than once for the same cycle, or charged in error, we refund the excess in full.
  • Failed activation: if a payment succeeds but your subscription/workspace is not activated due to a fault on our side and we are unable to resolve it, we refund that charge in full.
  • Service unavailability: a material, prolonged outage attributable to us (and not to third-party infrastructure, force majeure, or misuse) may be eligible for a pro-rated credit or refund, assessed case by case.
  • Where required by law: any refund mandated by applicable Indian law (including consumer-protection law) will be honoured.

Refunds are made to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically settle within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time on a voluntary mid-cycle cancellation, and consumed usage credits are non-refundable.

5. Credit Top-ups

Prepaid usage credits (top-ups) are non-refundable once purchased and do not expire. Unused included (plan) credits do not carry over between cycles and are not refundable.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email billing@synvolveintellis.com from your registered email address with your workspace name and the payment reference. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to resolve eligible requests within 7 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
